Our Race Directors will work behind the scenes and on the track to get you through your best running experience yet. If you know Emil or Nonkoh you know they run hard, and laugh harder… Allé!

EMIL ALBRECHTSEN

I love the idea of an organized run/race on the amarmino course! I often use Amager Fælled to training for my long runs, so to be able to race an ultra on my “home course” and without leaving the city is very cool.

So when I was approached to get involved as race director, it was a very easy decision to get involved, lend my expertise and make sure we get a solid sold out field.

Emil’s Bio
Emil is a physiotherapist at Løbe Lab and works with and helps some of Denmark's best running athletes.
Emil’s personal running goal for 2024 is running 26 races in 10 plus countries, with the big goal being
Ultra Trail Monc Blanc (UTMB), a 171 km ultra race in the French Alps. We hope Emil has recovered and is ready in time for Run Amarminoen on September 29th.

Nonkoh Kallon

I’m really pumped to be part of Run Amarminoen. This is a trail and ultra race right in the middle of our city but travels through some incredibly beautiful landscapes. I can’t wait to help put on a great race and cross the finish line with old and new friends after some serious running and a lot of personal records.

Nonkoh’s Bio
Coach Kallon is a prolific fitness expert and runs No.Excuses, a hard-core 7-day-a-week bootcamp. He also started community-based workouts and runs, long before every brand in town caught on and launched their own running communities.

Sofie Kildahl

I believe we can be dedicated to our goals while enjoying the journey. From my own experiences, I’ve learned that we can achieve more than we think if we dare to take the leap. Runamarminoen offers the perfect setup for an incredible experience, challenging oneself with exciting distances and a thrilling route.

Sofie’s Bio
I’m Sofie Kildahl Møller, 29, living in beautiful Silkeborg. I spend my free time running through the stunning Søhøjlandet forests. My love for running began during my military training, where I discovered the joy of physical and mental challenges. I’ve been part of both the trail and ultra running national teams, but my true passion lies in adventure runs over competitive races. It’s the mental battle that truly fuels me.

Mathias lynge

Run Amarmino 54 km Ultra is not really keeping me awake at night. I know and love this distance, and it feels great to be part of an ‘Urban’ Ultra, with less travel, less hassle, but still with some of the toughest competitors in Copenhagen,. Let’s go!

Mathias’ Bio
Mathias is a freak athlete who has done a bit of everything, ranging from 7km open water swims, several marathons (including those with a weighted vest), an IRONMAN, Hyrox, and 100 km Ultras. He has also taken on the challenge of ‘Denmark's Hardest 24 hours’.

Mathias is a certified Health Coach and personal trainer and has since 2018 run his own business focused on performance and lifestyle improvements.

Jesper Wahlberg

I prefer trails to pavement, so when we were throwing around ideas for a Copenhagen-based running event, we knew we wanted to create an experience that was different from a lot of the other running experiences and a race that was epic and had an element of nature involved. With the beautiful Amarmino trail practically touching the heart of our city, it just felt like a natural place to host an epic race experience. We were lucky that Naturstyrelsen loved the concept and quickly came onboard with both permission and ideas.

Jesper’s Bio
Jesper is no freak athlete, but rather a solidified weekend warrior, who thrives on cardio workouts, be it on the bike or running with various community groups across Copenhagen. He’s also the co-founder of aioss and the main ideator and facilitator of the Run Amarminoen race experience.
